Session Summaries

Welcome and Introduction

The welcome and introduction will explain the agenda process and touch on the basic issues and concepts the event will explore

Your Input: What do you want raised by speakers?

Before the speakers even start, you have the chance to influence what they talk about by giving your input on what you want talked about. You can do this online and at the event this input will be reviewed and additional input added. The purpose is to understand what you want out of the event and then try and achieve that.

Impromptu Speakers: A Chance to Share Your Perspective

As participations at the event, many of you have your own perspective to share with the group. This time is your chance to add to what the other speakers have said. If you are interested in giving a 5 minute talk on the event subject, simply indicate your interest so others know what else to expect.

Questions, Answers, Dialogue, Debate

After hearing the speakers, what questions are still unanswered for you? What do you want clarified? What would you like to challenge? What would you like to explore? This time for questions, answers, dialogue and debate isn't just to direct at the speakers, but to direct at each other in the room.

Wrap up: Putting It Into Practice

Participation 2007 is more than a talk shop: it is also meant to help expand your vision of what is possible and help you start working towards this. So this wrap up will wrap up the event by exploring how to put some of the ideas from the day into practice.
