eCampaigning Forum 2008
The 5th annual eCampaigning Forum, Oxford UK. 10-11 April, 2008.
Participant Content from ECF08
A number of ECF08 participants were blogging and posting to social media sites from the event. This is a collection of the known postings.
Ready, set, go!
ECF08 is in two days and it promises to be the most exciting eCampaigning Forum yet as it beings together the most diverse participants from around the world.
Get your participation in ECF08 fully paid...
ECF08 has secured sponsorship from Advocacy Online and Oxfam GB to cover the cost of collected ing producing a range ot e-campaigning related content to share with the community. Now we just need someone to implement it.
Speaker and presentation suggestions?
Over the next few weeks I need to start to identify and confirm speakers and presentations for the 2008 eCampaigning Forum. Do you have any suggestions for the type of speaker you'd like to see or specific names of people?
ECF08 Registration is Open (finally!)
I always know I need to launch ECF registration when 5-6 past participants email me asking how to register :-) Well - here is it, the new, improved registration/application process.
Get Ready for ECF08!
The 2008 eCampaigning Forum (the 5th event) is coming again. With the campaigning exploding into the social networks, video and beyond and organisations starting to invest more in it, it should be a very interesting year to attend!
Want to Help?
The event is getting big enough that help is needed to organise it. If you are willing and able to help, then we can discuss reducing the cost to attend.
Pre Meeting Anyone?
Over the past few years, participants have kept wanting to organise pre-meetings but no-one ever seems to have the time to make it happen. This year, I'm willing to help make it happen if you can get interest from others you want to attend. A pre-meeting is a great way to make the eCampaigning Forum even more valuable: not only do you learn from peers from diverse organisations, you can make it even more useful by sharing with peers you may work with (or work in the same environment).
Venue Input
QUESTION: Would you prefer to keep the 2008 eCampaigning Forum event hosted by Oxfam GB or hosted at an Oxford college? The pros and cons of both options are below.
