Sponsoring the eCampaigning Forum

The eCampaigning Forum is looking for sponsors to help us make the event even better, more effective and more diverse.

Why do we need sponsorship?

The eCampaigning Forum funds itself, and the event organisation and format is deliberately kept simple.  We want sponsorship to extend the impact of the event: connecting campaigners so they can learn together and make their campaigning more effective.

What's in it for sponsors?

The eCampaigning Forum brings together staff and freelancers from around the world who work to make campaigning effective via interactive media (and beyond). 60% are generally from the UK with the remaining participants from around the world (see the 2009 participant list for exact origins). 100 people are expected to attend in 2010.

While the participant base is medium sized, they are influential leaders of using interactive media for campaigning in their organisations or countries, and include representatives of large and influential organisations.

Sponsoring the eCampaigning Forum demonstrates a commitment to democratic participation and campaigning as a valuable social activity. Depending on the sponsor, this could translate into:

  • helping to achieve part of the organisational purpose
  • awareness of what your organisations does and stands for among participants and other members of the eCampaigning Forum network,
  • insight into the world of campaigning and campaigning via interactive media.

What help do we need?

We want sponsorship to extend the reach and impact of the event. Sponsorship could fund:

  • travel and attendance for campaigners from southern countries,
  • attendance for campaigners from small UK organisations,
  • production and publishing of on and offline resources, including articles and video case studies,
  • training for less-experienced campaigners.

Work with us

We'd love to work with organisations with:

  1. A track record in supporting campaigning and/or democratic participation
  2. An organisational commitment to environmental and social sustainability.
