- Why is the product only in version 0.2 and yet is said to be suitable for a production environment?
- Because it has been used in a production environment since June 2005
- Because we think it needs significant improvement to be a user-friendly, robust tool, such as:
- Allow the easy integration of dynamic content in 'Thank You Pages', 'Thank You Emails' and the address collection page
- Improving the range of options for configuring the action form and process (to improve the supporter experience)
- Dramatically improving the usability of the action set-up process for an editor
- Re-architecting the product so it is faster, puts less overhead on the host server, new action types can be easily added/exchanged and it can link in to an SQL database if needed.
- Re-factor the tracking module as it's own product
- Create centralised supporter info repository (personal data plus action history)
- Add more advanced reporting (with a separate reporting product)
